Postings are fetched only through documented public job-board APIs (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Arbeitnow, Jobicy, Remotive) and the official Hacker News Algolia API. LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor prohibit scraping and are never collected.

Full posting text is never published. Everything on this site is a derived aggregate with cells below n = 20 suppressed. Occupations are coded to SOC 2018 and mapped to ten disciplines through a versioned crosswalk; where the anchoring school’s programme placement and SOC disagree, placement governs and the departure is recorded with its evidence.

Whose placement records. The programme placement that anchors the discipline crosswalk comes from the BYU Marriott School of Business, and its norms govern where placement and SOC disagree. That is a statement about the source of one input, not about who the analyses are for. Nothing else on this site assumes a reader is enrolled anywhere in particular.

Sales and marketing are reported separately. Entrepreneurial Management has no SOC occupation and is a competency match, never a placement count. Agreement statistics between AI raters measure consistency, not accuracy, until the human-coded sample exists.
