Terms of use
FacultaStudio publishes aggregate analyses of job postings for research and teaching. By using the site you accept these terms.

What these numbers are not. This panel is assembled to study AI-related work, so it deliberately over-samples employers who advertise it. Its AI share is a property of this sample and is not a measure of how common AI work is in the labour market. Do not cite it as a prevalence rate. For prevalence, use a source built for that question, such as the Indeed Hiring Lab AI Tracker.
What this is, and what it is not
This is a research instrument. It is not career advice, not hiring advice, not financial advice, and not a recruitment service. It does not list jobs to apply for and takes no part in any hiring decision. Nothing here should be the only basis for choosing a course, a major, a job or a candidate.
Accounts
Accounts exist so that faculty can maintain a program page. We sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email address; keep access to that mailbox secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
Signing in does not grant access to any program. Membership is granted separately and out of band, because a program page speaks for a department rather than for whoever registered first. Do not request or accept membership of a program you are not authorised to speak for.
What a program submits
When you submit job titles, employers or questions you confirm that you are authorised to do so on that program’s behalf, that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it contains no personal data about students or any other individual.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, analyse it, and publish figures derived from it, including in academic work. You can edit or withdraw your entries at any time; published aggregates already computed may remain, because a paper cannot be un-published.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to re-identify any individual from any figure on this site.
- Do not attempt to defeat the suppression rules, or to combine figures in order to recover a suppressed cell.
- Do not scrape at a rate that degrades the service, or attempt to access data you have not been granted.
- Do not submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing, or anything containing personal data about students.
- Do not present these figures as labour-market prevalence, or otherwise strip a number from the caveat published beside it.
Third-party job posting content
Job advertisements collected by this project remain the property of the employers and job boards that published them, and are subject to those sources’ own terms. We publish only aggregate counts and percentages derived from them, never posting text.
Several sources require attribution and a followed link wherever their data appears. We honour those requirements on the research page, which lists every source with a link. If you reuse figures derived from this panel, you take on those obligations too.
Citing our figures
You may cite and quote figures from this site for research, teaching and journalism, with attribution to FacultaStudio and the collection date shown beside the figure. Every number here carries its n and its date for exactly this reason. Please carry the caveat with the number.
Accuracy, and the absence of a warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
We try hard to be accurate and to publish our mistakes when we find them, but this is live research over third-party data. Figures change as data arrives, classifiers are revised, and errors are corrected. Numbers derived from small samples are suppressed rather than shown, and a suppressed cell means we do not know, not that the value is zero.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenues, data or opportunities, arising from your use of this site or reliance on any figure published on it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred US dollars. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, from content you submit, or from your use of figures published here.
Copyright
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, write to legal@facultastudio.com identifying the work, the material, and your contact details, with a statement that you believe the use is unauthorised and that your notice is accurate. We respond to valid notices promptly.
Suspension
We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, and may withdraw a program page if we are told the account does not speak for that program.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, and the courts of Utah County, Utah have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Independence
FacultaStudio is an independent research project. Where it reports figures published by an institution, it does so as a third party analysing public documents, and nothing on this site should be read as that institution’s statement or as endorsed by it.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. If a change materially reduces your rights and you hold an account, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
